This was written by Robyn Knapton of Los Angeles, California and shared on page 113 of the book, The Man Called the Siri Singh Sahib, which was published in 1979.
In a tiny ashram eight years ago
A young girl sat beginning to grow,
At the foot of her teacher whom she loved so and
She thought she had naught to let him know.
She brought flowers to place at his feet,
And got high as he’d rant and raise high holy heat,
As overflowing crowds learned a new way to cope,
With their lives and their hassles without tricks or dope
They learned to change their “no’s” to “yes,”
And begin to clean up their cosmic mess,
Changed their jeans to purest white,
(Changed their darkness into light)
And she wanted to give him something as bright;
After searching her soul, she found she could write.
As words of devotion flowed from her pen
She knew what to give this king among men:
A gift from the heart given to uplift the world,
Is far greater than gifts that are gilded and pearled.

We are going to make it, God as my
witness and you as my partner.
On this path, we have walked many times –
Keep Courage.
That is also a gift of God.
Though the thunder is terrible,
and your delicate ears are not meant
to hear that wrath,
But they still can listen to the beat of
my heart,
it is rhythmic and it is going.
Your feet are trembling like the thunder
that makes the Earth tremble with the shock.
But, in the light of your lightning you
can still fill me with spirit.
I promise I will carry on, Oh my soul.

It’s a long way to go
Time is moving very slow
Stars are shining very strong
Guiding my way so nothing goes wrong
You are still far away
Like the Milky Way
I see you in me
You want to be
Light in you and light in me
Make me you and you as me

It is your duty to speak the truth to your children, and stand to it. Don’t lie to them, don’t cater to them. Behind the catering, they find your insecurity and weaknesses, which is how they mess you up. When you cater to the child, you are trying to cover up something, and the child has the super-psychic power to see behind it. The moment he uncovers you, he will not respect you. Therefore, it is your duty to be straight with your own born child.

If your inside is in turmoil, this meditation will prevent you from dying. It can be done anytime, and its effect will be to calm you, to energize you, and to relax you. This is a very powerful meditation. Prana is life force corresponding to the electron; Apana is eliminating force corresponding to the proton; and Shushmana is the central force corresponding to the neutron. The beauty of this mantra is in the touch of palate and tongue.
Yogi Bhajan said that in the event of an atomic war, radiation will not kill you if your ‘gene aura’ is one inch thick.

Every human being is great, but a good-spirited woman is divine. God created everything, but the power of God flows through a good-hearted woman. Everything is where God is, but God takes birth through the womb of a good-hearted woman. Therefore, a woman may not be God, but she is the gateway of divinity, and any woman who falls below that standard of divinity is only structurally a woman, but not in reality a woman. You can look like a woman, but according to the basic definition of what woman is, that is not true enough. If you make a paper man, it will look like a man, but it won’t be a man. Divinity and dignity—when and where they unite—is called woman.

“You must prepare yourself for the coming onslaught of this tidal wave of insanity which is going to go over us. Weather is changing. Metabolism is changing. Your hormones are changing. Your food production is changing. Therefore, we have to prepare ourselves. We have to have a very stable mind, a very stable personality and very stable communication. For that we need energy.” ~ Yogi Bhajan

The enjoyment of life is the enjoyment of Pranic energy. A hundred years ago, if I would have talked about atomic energy, you would have made a mockery of it. Five thousand years ago people discovered this Pranic energy and a human’s life was very long, very healthy, and very intuitive. How did they discover it? This is not the knowledge of the dead. Yoga is the knowledge of the living being.
