Khalsa Council Mission Statement

We, the Members of the Khalsa Council of Sikh Dharma, exist to serve God, Siri Guru Granth Sahib, Sadh Sangat and all of humanity.

We acknowledge our responsibility to provide leadership to Sikh Dharma and we commit to live, spread, preserve and protect the teachings of Sikh Dharma as embodied in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib and according to the Rehit Maryada of the Father of the Sovereign Khalsa Spiritual Nation, Siri Guru Gobind Singh.

The children are the foundation of the Nation; therefore, we shall provide for them and guide them to become Sons and Daughters of Guru Gobind Singh.

Further, we shall develop and make available resources and methodology to increase the financial prosperity of the members of Sikh Dharma, so they may gracefully serve the Khalsa Nation and Humanity.

Khalsa Council Member Oath

Standing as Khalsa, I humbly offer my body, mind, and soul unto my Guru, Siri Guru Granth Sahib, and hereby dedicate my life to spreading the Guru’s teachings.

I hereby pledge to live according to the principles of Sikh Dharma, which shall lead to my final merger with the Supreme Light.

I pledge my loyalty to the Siri Singh Sahib of Sikh Dharma and to all members of the Khalsa Council.

I humbly pray that I may always be able to maintain my integrity and my values as a Minister of Sikh Dharma in the face of all pressures of time and space.

O my True Guru, kindly bless me to think, speak, and act as a humble servant of the Guru and the Sadh Sangat in carrying out my duties as an integral part of the Khalsa Council.

By Thy Grace may my word be honored unto Infinity.
