This poem, written by Yogi Bhajan, was published on page 49 of the book, The Man Called the Siri Singh Sahib, published in 1979.

If we live above time and space,
only then can we know the state of beneficence and explore the Infinite.

Neither the contraction nor expansion will bother us,
If we have the support of Guru’s Word as our anchor.

Let us earn the essence of the Nam, in the ecstasy of our consciousness,
this is the pitcher of the nectar of Infinity, which is within us.

Life above time and space,
only then can we know the state of beneficence and explore the Infinite.

If we sail with the trade winds of the Nam,
Then we are relieved of our karma and we will reach the destination.

We can uproot pain and displeasure from our lives
If we meditate deeply on Sat Nam.

Let us make the Nam the wick to light our candle of life,
it is the sacred tablet of ecstasy and bliss.

Live above time and space,
only then can we know the state of beneficence and explore the Infinite.
