In addition to being part of the "Aquarian Sadhana", for decades, on Yogi Bhajan's birthday (August 26th), his students around the globe have practiced a special 2.5 hour sadhana of "Long Ek Ong Kars". Here's more information about this mantra/meditation: It is...

In Brahm Yoga is the Mastery of Nam.
Oh Yogi! God comes and lives in your Heart,
All errors, pains, and Karmas fly away,
When you chant God’s Name and get Liberated!
Here is the Guru’s message:
Whoever hears, obeys, and spreads it,
His mind will become filled with that God
Whose Glory can never be told.
Your mind must not intrigue you and entrance you into its intrigues. The mind must serve you. The mind has to be developed to give you supportive strength. There is no reason to be unhappy other than the pain you get from the results of these intrigues.
Many people use drugs to alter their consciousness.
Immersed in the world of their senses,
They claim to be Yogis.
Chanting ‘WaheGuru’ the Kundalini Rises!
Taking Amrit the Kundalini Rises!
Meditating on the Name the Kundalini Rises!
Singing God’s praises the Kundalini Rises!
Doing Yoga the Kundalini Rises!
Fixing the concentration the Kundalini Rises!
When the Kundalini awakens it Rises!
Humans have been given long hair,
To crown the tenth gate,
The Way of Knowledge,
Take good care of your hair,
And let the Creative Energy flow into your body.
Long hairs are the channels of the Infinite,
They bring the Infinite Creative Power into your body.
Keep your natural form until your last breath.
Let the Light radiate from your body … God’s Image.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar Nam.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar of Meditation.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar of Yoga.
This is the matchless opportunity
To connect to God.
Chant the Nam and find Peace.
Take a cold bath and sit crosslegged,
And meditate on God’s Name.
The Ambrosial hours of the morning
Are the Divine hours of the day.
This is the time of deep meditation
When God’s Grace is experienced.
Sing the Guru’s Bani!
Gurbani is God’s Nectar.
Drinking it, one is liberated.
Oh Yogi! Merging with the Infinite,
Lose your self in God.
As Yogi Bhajan said, mantra literally means mental wave, mental vibration. So by reciting a mantra we cut old patterns and set up a new vibration. There is no need to drown in negativity and depression. It truly becomes possible to transform the mind, to feel a deep sense of belonging to my spirit. As I watch people around me struggle with their own longing, I hope my words can help others to find their inner peace and know that they belong.
“You do not understand your features. Your features are not your beautiful nose, your beautiful cheeks, beautiful lips, and so on. These are not your features. Your features are your beautiful behavior, your beautiful character, your beautiful health, your beautiful spirit, your beautiful advice, your beautiful wisdom, your beautiful inspiration.”
In the midst of that fullness, perhaps, on his second or third visit, the Siri Singh Sahib was sitting up on the front platform gazing at the ceiling.
“Look! This Gurdwara was really built properly. There are 11 Gurus and there are 11 vigas.”
That was when I realized, that although the community came together, and there some who had spent most of the year working, it was truly the Guru who had built his Gurdwara.
The True Game of Life is to control your own mind!
Learn how to do it, and you will merge with God!
Drinking alcohol kills your body.
It takes away your Inner Power and makes you live in pain.
The heart and the liver become enlarged,
And the Crown Lotus cannot open.
Leave all intoxicants behind and eat the Honey of Nam instead,
And your body will become Golden and Divine!
The beauty of Kundalini Yoga is that if you can just sit physically, set the automatic rhythm of your pranayam (breath control) and add a creative naad (inner sound), your mind is focused and balanced. In a kriyā you can immediately strike a complete physical, mental and spiritual balance. It works so efficiently and quickly because of this fullness, balance and energy.
Practicing this meditation powerfully affirms our purity, grace, and mastery, and thereby affirms our worthiness to receive. This is an affirmation to hold in consciousness as a guideline for our lives.
Gateway to the Soul gives you the powerful effects of the Banis in English translation, to open your heart, steady your mind, and connect you with your strength, courage, and Infinite Consciousness. Listening to or reciting the Banis gives you inner balance, grace, radiance, and energy; stopping the negative cycle of the mind and reversing its thought forms. Although the greatest benefit of the Banis is through recitation in the original Gurmukhi, Gateway to the Soul offers them in English, with musical accompaniment, so you can enjoy their subtle, joyful vibrations. The Banis are truly meant to be experienced by the heart.
Whenever the karmas are burned, dharma appears. Dharma means you cannot be defeated. Karma means you will be defeated on the next step.
Q: What is a spiritual teacher?
A: None of you have any idea about what a spiritual teacher is. In India, it took five thousand years to come to an understanding of what a spiritual teacher is and now they have lost it too. The relationship between student and Teacher is like the relationship between a chisel and hammer and stone. Do you know what happens when a Teacher and a student meet? Sparks.
Don’t look for a Teacher. Look for integrity. Look for one who can integrate the totality of the Infinity with the reality in the finite of the self, and still laugh. He knows; he won’t tell. He understands; he won’t speak. Because his power is not his own. His power is his own inner prayer, which is calm, quiet, peaceful, and goes with him. Word is God. In the beginning there was the word, the word was with God, the word was Integrity. (Aquarian Times, Winter 2005)
Yogi Bhajan once spoke about the relationship between the neutral mind and intuition, or inner guidance. He explained that the neutral mind has its own mantra: “Guide me to the Lord, my Lord.” Right now, take a moment to slow your breath. Repeat these words for three minutes. When you are done, notice the quality of your thoughts and how you feel. Let this practice become a habit.
