“By vibrating in rhythm with the breath to a particular sound that is proportional to the creative sound, or sound current, one can expand one’s sensitivity to the entire spectrum of vibration. It is similar to striking a note on a stringed instrument. In other words, as you vibrate, the Universe vibrates with you.” ~Yogi Bhajan
“In a simple language, it is Ang Sang Wahe Guru – with my every limb and cell of my being, God is. You will become beautiful; your environment will become beautiful; success will be at your feet. you will never worry.” `Yogi Bhajan
Mother Earth is crying in vain. Almighty God, who out of His many bountiful blessings, gave us the planet Earth which we have raped, abused, misused—and we are not stopping. We are not at peace with Mother Earth, we are not at peace with environments, we are not at peace with ourselves, we are not at peace within ourselves. The time has come when we must all wake up to a simple reality: without peace what else are we? ~Yogi Bhajan
In this video from the 2022 Virtual Summer Solstice Event, Guru Shabad Singh describes how Yogi Bhajan directed him to put this Shabad to music. Scroll down to listen to the full audio of Guru Shabad Singh singing this Shabad, and to see the English transliteration and translation of the Shabad.
I would like to explain something to you. It is not a good thing to become a teacher of Kundalini Yoga and mix other things. When you practice Kundalini Yoga, you stay with it only. Remember that. ~ July 23, 1996
You must look beyond the mirror! You are the spirit, you are the soul, you are the self. You are the honor; you are the source of all sources. You are the redeemer of all redeemers. From you, this creation is born.

“Happiness is your birthright” – how many times have you heard this sentence or pronounced it in front of your students?
Yogi Bhajan’s projection was so powerful that it allowed the expansion of 3HO to 72 countries around the world, giving birth to an enormous number of opportunities for people to become healthy, happy and holy.
There has to be a balance between Earth and heavens. Too much heavens and too much Earth is no good. God made us human, and that is enlightenment when we keep the balance between heaven and Earth. When we live a balanced life we live happily. Happiness is in balance. There are seven steps to happiness. There is no other way. You must commit, which you don’t want to and I am not asking you, I am just explaining you the seven steps. Happiness believes… your commit happiness believes in your commitment, that will give you character, that will give you dignity, that will give you Divinity, that will give you grace, that will give you power to sacrifice and you will experience happiness.
“Wealth means character, characteristics, straightforwardness, honesty, courage—these are all values. This is all called wealth. We gather together money with the idea that what we cannot get otherwise, we will buy. But you cannot buy courage; you cannot buy character.” – Yogi Bhajan
Around the same time that Columbus discovered America, Guru Nanak was traveling to bring the teachings of a higher consciousness, of “Ek Ong Kar”. While Europe was preparing to colonize the States, Guru Nanak lashed out against injustices, hypocrisies and useless rituals–reminding kings, saints, thieves and sorcerers that the word of God is made of love and compassion.
America is an extraordinary nation.
It is the place where Yogi Bhajan decided to move.
It was the basis for the development of the path of Kundalini yoga.
There was something in America that Yogi Bhajan knew would be difficult to find in other countries:
Such a powerful nature
1. The Law of Pure Potentiality ~ Anything is possible, vast, unlimited.
You must be willing to know that anything is possible. This often entails work on belief-systems, negative thoughts
and other sub-conscious layers which can impede the journey to prosperity.
During the 1960s, Yogi Bhajan began taking care of many people who came from a complex cultural background. They called themselves hippies.
You’ve probably heard of them too. Peace, music, sexual freedom represented a strong desire for social liberation from an identity that no longer had roots.
This led to the desire for rebellion, the rejection of a social position, a recognized identity, an ordinary life.
This was the humus in which kundalini yoga had the opportunity to take root.
We had thought we were working on a sign for the Siri Singh Sahib. But we soon realized that he was working on a nation for us. He was helping us to see our greatness and our destiny. He was helping us to build our identity as the Khalsa nation and to help us build our history. “Sarkar e Khalsa” still stands manifest as a testimony of our hope for the future and a witness of the pure Khalsa Spirit.
Every heartbeat is God’s Name to me.
Every breath of life is ecstasy.
Every night is a bliss to me.
Every day a wonderful reality.
Every life is a living God to me.
Everything is God’s personality.
Every kiss is God’s romance to me.
Every love is God’s originality.
May God give us the power to be loving, kind, peaceful, compassionate, extending ourself to serve and uplift all we see, we meet, we cross. May this day become one of the best, tomorrow one of the super best, and on we go as men of God and women of grace, may we all in His eyes, in His ears, in His tongue, speak the truth. Sat Nam
Do you want the opportunity of finding yourself in a Sangat who, through humility and brotherhood, meets to celebrate the sacred lineage of Kundalini yoga and the treasures of knowledge that Yogi Bhajan bequeathed to us?
We talk about peace, tranquility, and good luck. But so long as those born of woman do not respect woman, there cannot be peace of mind, national peace, or peace in the Universe. So long as man does not have reverence for the primal force, his mental attribute will still want to exploit woman, reduce her, abuse her, and be angry with her. Every male achievement will be empty.
On a cold day in February 1977, Kundalini yoga was growing and starting to expand to Europe and beyond. The Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, along with about a dozen yogis, were looking for a permanent home for the Summer Solstice Sadhana, to lay roots for our global community.
