Step 7 of the 7 Steps of Happiness – Happiness
The First Student
Yogi Bhajan’s first Kundalini Yoga student bears the name of Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa.
She was more or less 40 years old when Yogi Bhajan gave her the presidency of the 3HO in 1969.
At that time, Yogi Bhajan worked tirelessly, day and night with the sole intention of allowing his projection to manifest itself.
He longed for a spiritual nation.
He wanted to create values in which to recognize oneself within the United States of America and then in the rest of the world.
It started with the name: 3HO.
“Happiness is your birthright” – how many times have you heard this sentence or pronounced it in front of your students?
Yogi Bhajan’s projection was so powerful that it allowed the expansion of 3HO to 72 countries around the world, giving birth to an enormous number of opportunities for people to become healthy, happy and holy.
From 1969 until 2004 our Teacher had no other thought:
The expansion of a human movement of liberation, which would allow us to experience happiness as a birthright, and the practice of Kundalini yoga as a tool to reclaim it.
Shakti Parwha tells us that Yogi Bhajan was focused solely on serving his Guru and this gave him strength, focus and grace to face his life.
Every time we talk about our Master, we talk about his extraordinary feat, his mental projection of the force with which he manifested the reality he desired.
Today I ask you to look at your projection, your happiness.
How successful was the master in moving you?
How successful are you today, while facing the many difficulties of life, to project your right to happiness?
How much space do you dedicate in your day to celebrate happiness?
Here I ask you to read this email to the end and then stop for a moment, close your eyes and celebrate the happiness you have achieved now.
Happiness is a state of mind, not a goal to be achieved.
It is the fulfillment of the seven steps, which from commitment to the strength of sacrifice allow us to become our projection and enjoy the journey towards the goal, and not the goal.
If this is what makes your heart beat faster, and you have the pleasure of celebrating and sharing with those like you who use Kundalini yoga as a tool to experience happiness,
On June 25-26* we will all find ourselves together in a new version of the summer solstice experience.
It will be a worldwide event, a celebration of a high vibrational level, in which to experience happiness and that flavor of projection that our Master has generated in us.
PS: don’t forget to close your eyes and celebrate happiness
*Some time zones will end on June 27
