By the order of God
Rishi Dusht Daman
Transformed through time and space
Became Gobind.
His great gift to the Khalsa
Is “Wahe Guru!”
Chant it and be free.

Har, Har, Har, Har,
Meditate on the Name
As the tears of God’s Love come to your eyes,
The Path will be revealed,
And you’ll see God
Everywhere.
Keep Going!
Keep Up!
Keep Walking …

I am White Hot Steel.
My touch burns deep!
No one can bear it.
My heart throbs . . . anguished!
I take no notice of it.
There is nothing to say.
High thoughts . . .
Awakening,
Vibrating,
In Ecstasy . . .
Unexplainable.
This Vibrating Joy
Through the many tests of life
Never lets me fall.

In the depth of my heart
Harimandir lives!
When I realized Akal Purkh
The Akal Takht came inside me too.
I belong to Guru Ram Das.
The Khalsa Panth has adorned me with Honor.
Akal Purkh Illuminates me.

Out of the Guru’s mouth,
The Cave of Divine Knowledge,
Comes the Naad of the Gurmantra.

Thus woman becomes a Mother Divine,
And sings the Praises
Of the Giver of All Life.
From within the Cave of Seed,
All human beings are born.

When I joined myself to Truth,
I got drenched with the color that never fades!
The rhythm of my breath
Became the very sound of God’s Name.
And sitting perfectly in Cherdi Kalah,
The True Guru took me by the hand.
My burning desires:
My attachment, greed and pride all vanished.
My lust and passion, my flaming anger,
Were all destroyed
When the True Guru held my hand.

Without Love, how can you be loved?
Without a Heart, how can you serve?
Without the Nam, how can you meditate?
Without the Guru, how can you get Knowledge
of the Infinite?

Chant the Gurmantra, and see God.
Rare is the one who knows how to do it!
Filled with light,
Nectar flows.
The man of God,
Living Rehit,
Lives free.
Without the Gurmantra,
Life is Hell,
Doubting and forgetting.

The one who belongs to the Almighty Supreme Lord,
Holds the whole world in his hand.
The one within whom the Supreme Lord lives,
The Heavens and Earth meditate on him.
Whoever meditates on the Supreme Lord,
He becomes a Man of God, a Saint.

They learn the Secret of practicing the Nam,
Controlling the breath, they meditate on God.
They righteously earn the Profit of God’s Name,
They share with others and serve God thereby,
They know the Art of Yogic Living,
And, serving God…
They become God!

Through the pure essence of water,
Our Father,
We come face to face
With Reality.
With the breath of life,
The five Banis are sung.
The Five Beloved Ones return again and again
To bring each Sikh
Into the presence
Of the Guru.

The fortunate bride dresses and decorates herself,
Union is her one desire!
When form merges into form,
Salvation is attained.
Give your body, mind and wealth to your Guru,
Serve the ones who serve the Saint,
Then Peace fills your heart …
And the sweetest fruit is yours!
