THE ALMIGHTY (Samrath)
This poem is from page 50-51 of the book “Furmaan Khalsa: Poems to Live By” by Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Khalsa Yogiji
Who has any might, without the strength of the Almighty?
How can your life be well remembered, if God’s Light has not shone upon you?
How can your face be radiant, without the support of the Infinite King?
How can you meditate deeply, without churning the Light of the Nam?
The practice of Raj Yoga is the churning which yields the butter of life.
Singing the Guru’s Kirtan, all fears and miseries leave you.
If you meditate on God’s Name, your life shall not be in vain.
The Siri Singh Sahib ~ Yogi Bhajan: The saint, the teacher, the humanitarian, the leader. Within these pages of “Furmaan Khalsa” lies a manual of conscious living written in the form of 108 luminous and inspiring poems. Based on the science of human consciousness called Raj Yog and written as a guide for future generations, these poems answer questions on how to live successfully with an open heart and mind amidst the challenges of the modern world.
