Tratakam – A Poem by Gurutrang Singh Khalsa

All I see in your eyes is love
All I see in your eyes is home
All I see in your eyes is wisdom
All I see in your eyes is me.
You smile back at me
With a twinkle in your eyes
Complete acceptance
Makes me cry
All I see in your eyes is joy
All I see in your eyes is you
All I see in your eyes is I’m stupid
All I see in your eyes is a Jew-Guru
You tied a turban for the photo so nice
Five folds for the Panj Pyare Ji
The wrinkle in your forehead so fine
I remember your mind all the time
The curls in your beard are so weird
Your head floats in space
Like the Wizard of Oz
Your nose is a beautiful schnoz
All I see in your eyes is patience
All I see in your eyes is the patient
All I see in your eyes is adjacent
All I see in your eyes is the nation
As I write this song your eyes laugh
If I see a giraffe you wonder why
Your eyes tell me stop being a goofy guy
But then does it really matter?
All I see in your left eye is that scar
Does anyone know how you got that mar
And your eyebrows slant to the ridge of your nose
Wow, what a wonderful forehead, it glows!
All I see in your eyes is acceptance
All I see in your eyes is a blessing
All I see in your eyes everything
All I see in your eyes is a King
Siri Singh Sahib ji, in life we had so much fun
It never ends you’re still the sun
one with the One
I’m so happy we can still play together
And pray together, and stay together
What a wonderful blessing is Tratikam
Your eyes are here for all time to come
And we can see ourselves through the son
It’s eternal fun and joy with the One
All I see in your eyes is love
All I see in your eyes is home
All I see in your eyes is wisdom
All I see in your eyes is me
