Yogi Bhajan – End of Class Prayers – 1
Yogi Bhajan often shared a short prayer following the “Long Time Sun” song. Many Kundalini Yoga teachers continue with this uplifting tradition of blessing their students with a spontaneous heartfelt prayer or by reading one of Yogi Bhajan’s prayers or poems. Here are a few prayers which Yogi Bhajan spoke after classes:
By the blessing of the Guru’s Shabd, may you always uphold your consciousness and walk the path of spirit with every step. May the Guru bless us to serve all those whom we are destined to serve. Give us the scope to reach every heart, every being, and to bring joy and happiness. Thank you for this day and for this evening and this chance to talk and share together. You are the kindest of all kindness. You are Lord of all Lords. May Thy Light guide us each step and all through life. Sat Naam.
-The Mind
The time shall be known by your work and by your deeds. If you will serve humanity, you shall be exalted. If you’ll be kind, compassionate and caring, God shall honor you with His own hands. Life is waiting for you and giving you a chance to elevate it. Don’t fail. Heal the world. Go. That’s why we started Sat Nam Rasayan. Just touch not and heal. You can feel, get it all in you, throw it away, person is healed. The most powerful language of the world is silence. And that is a healer’s language. Remember that.
-The Masters Touch
Blessed is my Creator. Blessed is His creation. Blessed is me as creature, part of all that beauty, bounty, and bliss, and the wonderful world He created—and it is Wha! May we all live in that peace and tranquility, harmony, care and compassion to understand there is one God who lives in all of us, all the time. And that is life. May that life be blessed forever, forever, forever. Sat Nam.
May this life of mine be that of grace, and as a powerful instrument to uplift all I touch, see, and I live with. Forgive my enemies and bless my slanderers and all those who are waiting for my defeat. Give them the strength that they can test their virtues against Yours. Keep Your Light guiding and shining on my path so I can walk unto Thy Heart, with love, with love, with love. Sat Naam.
