Amrit Vela
The following poem was written by the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan and appears on page 22-23 of the book, Furmaan Khalsa.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar Nam.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar of Meditation.
In the Amrit Vela, the Nectar of Yoga.
This is the matchless opportunity
To connect to God.
In the Amrit Vela Inner Knowledge is heard.
In the Amrit Vela God’s creativity flows.
Whoever practices yoga and meditates in the Amrit Vela
Joins God.
Drink the Amrit and live the Rehit.
Becoming Khalsa, obtain God.
Listen to the Glory of the Amrit, my friend:
The Amrit Rehit is the Way of God.
Drinking the Amrit
You become Amrit.
Oh Yogi!
In this way
Raj Yoga is attained.
