Shakti literally means God´s power in manifestation and every woman is a Shakti.
She shares the stories of the Woman Camps that Yogi Bhajan created, in which women from all paths and places came along to experience and learn this special way of life, doing a lot of yoga, meditations, chanting devotional Shabads to restore themselves and nurturing the Grace of God within them.
Yogi Bhajan was aware that when women gather together to nurture the inner self, relax, play and chant divine songs as a group, great transformation come to the world. He spent many years trying to restore the greatness, grace and the respect for women around the world.
His teachings were profound and start making women aware of their true power which create many changes in the world.
Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa is the author of the popular Kundalini Yoga: The Flow of Eternal Power. Her newest book, Kundalini Postures and Poetry, is a unique album of photos of the Master of Kundalini Yoga with commentary in verse. Shakti was Yogi Bhajan’s first student in the United States and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1969. She has being a prolific author, with many publications about Kundalini Yoga and its lifestyle. She is knowed for her simple and down to the earth approach to spirituality and inspire many with her classes and experience.
