Love (Prem)

This poem was written by Yogi Bhajan and is on page 170-171 of the book, Furmaan Khalsa.

Love is an Ocean, endless and unfathomable.
Love is the constant churning of the butter of the Nam.
Love is the endless taste of the Infinite.
Love, Oh Love! Is the strength of God.
Love is the life support of the Soul.
Love makes the world go around.
In Love lives the Lord of the Universe.
Love’s devotion makes you radiant.
Love is only understood by the lover.
The lover enjoys the ecstasy of the Infinite.
Love is Union, and deep meditation.
The whole Universe is made of Love.

Oh Yogi! Love God!
And lovingly sing His loving praises,
For whoever loves God as the Doer of everything,
Escapes the pain of death.

Love, Oh Yogi! Is what you are!
So chant Sat Nam and Sat Kartar!

Here is this poem put to music by Mata Mandir Singh:

Within these pages of “Furmaan Khalsa” lies a manual of conscious living written in the form of 108 luminous and inspiring poems. Based on the science of human consciousness called Raj Yog and written as a guide for future generations, these poems answer questions on how to live successfully with an open heart and mind amidst the challenges of the modern world.
