This poem is from page 237 of the book  “Furmaan Khalsa: Poems to Live By” by Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji:

THE DOGS OF THE STATUS-SEEKERS
(Kursee de Kule)

I am the Dog of the Guru,
While they are the dogs of the status-seekers.

I bark vigilantly all night and day,
While they lie sleeping, lazily.

They sniff from door to door, begging for votes,
Telling everyone what great spiritual leaders they are.

By praising their own empty words, they mock the Body
of the Panth,
For they have never done even the tiniest honest job
for the Panth.

Posing as gardeners of the beautiful Panthic Garden,
They are really thieves, ruffians, and false leaders
of the Dharma.

With their double-barreled shotguns, they murder the Honor
of the Panth.
In cold blood, they toy with the Panth’s Dignity.

Cheating the Guru, they eagerly eat from his bowl.
They seek to do the Seva, of robbing the Panth of its Dignity.

I am dyed in the Crimson of Nam, while they are stained
with blood.
They torture and murder the Panth, and feel no shame.

Oh Khalsa! Wake Up! The Time has come!
Take the Support of the Guru’s Shabd!
The Immortal God is calling your Immortal Soul!
Take up the Guru’s Standard, and raise his Flag up high!
Seize the Time!
And know that the Guru will stand by your side.

All the false leaders will fall.
The Power of Nam shall rise. You will be dyed Crimson
in its Love,
And the Heavenly Master shall dwell within you!
The Martyrs who sleep in the Realm of Action will rise
and come to your aid,
And the dogs of the status-seekers will be finished forever!
