I cannot believe that I truly have been so blessed in this life to have found such a holy man! One of the most intense moments that I can recall is that very moment in which I realized this blessing. At that time, I had a realization that I had nothing whatsoever to fear and that no problem could overcome me because of this gift .It was a spring White Tantric Yoga course, the first one I had attended since I had made the great transition of moving into an ashram. I was very insecure, very afraid of my future. I was leaving my past forever, for I had taken on a new name, a name which at first made me feel a deep anxiety, as I wondered if I could ever really say in confidence “I am Dev Bhajan Kaur Khalsa.”

Oh, Formless in form, Oh Being, the Supreme Being, Oh Truth in truthful existence within existence, Oh Virtue in virtue, Oh Grace in grace, Oh All in everything, Oh Cause in every cause, Oh Known and Unknown, Oh One, Oh Many; our existence is concentrating its totality at this time on the Totality of all totality.

“Oh, Supreme One, the Supreme Consciousness and beyond all, but in all. Oh, Formless in every form that existed through the time, the Supreme unifier that existed through the tie, the Supreme unifier that made it possible that creatures so created in Thy consciousness, could meditate on Thee, and could relate to Thee. You talked, You listened to Your existence. Beyond You, there was never existence, and never there shall be. Give us the power to believe, to be confirmed in our belief to be with Thee in all our conscious, subconscious, and supreme conscious acts. Exalt us into Thee so that we can carry the Light of Thy Name, future of Thy spirit and service of Thy Grace. Give us power to be one with everyone to find the One within and without and vice us unity to live in oneness of mankind and humanity so that we can enjoy the happiness, bliss, and state of ecstasy through Thy Grace.”

To achieve Universal Consciousness through any method, you have to raise your kundalini … Now, understand what kundalini is. Kundal means lock, neck lock. Kundalini means that coiled energy. God is like an unlimited coil that separates itself into smaller coils that can uncoil and experience Infinity. That is the simple reality of this life. It is so simple, it is so scientific… If that coiled energy is joined with the seat of the soul, i.e. the pineal gland in the brain, what will happen?

During White Tantra, the infinite energy of the universe flows through the Mahan Tantric into all of the participants. White Tantric is no ordinary yoga. It cannot be practiced without the Mahan Tantric present because it takes his mastery over emotions for it to be not only effective, but safe. Partners face each other in lines while the Mahan Tantric physically sits in front of the group and projects his own astral body to encircle the group. He, thereby, extends own psycho-electro- magnetic field to encompass the group aura.

“The first gift of higher consciousness is the state of equilibrium, where neither praise inflates you nor slander depresses you. That is the first gift if you have experienced the kundalini. In this state, when somebody comes and tells you that you are great, you say that God is great, and when somebody tells you you are an idiot, you still say that God is great. You have one altar, which is Infinity, and on it you lay everything. That is the first state, the state of equilibrium.
You may like praise, you may even love it, but you offer it at the altar of your Creator; you may dislike slander, but you offer it at the altar of your Creator. This is a state of equilibrium. When a person lives in the ecstasy of equilibrium, he is super sensitive; therefore, he is grateful. This attitude of gratitude makes a person great. If you ever want to be great, this is the minimum requirement.” (February 19, 1976)

Oh, Supreme Consciousness hold this individual Consciousness to that height so that man can sustain through the practical experience of Thy ecstasy. Oh, Thou the Self of all selves, the Expansion beyond time, beyond matter. Oh, True Teacher, the only teacher. Oh, the Creator of channels, through Thy prayers and Name let this day be a turning point in realization towards You and the experience of vastness and limitlessness may be in every heart. Open every heart and shower Thy greatness. Let this day lead to the self and the union with the Supreme Self. In Thy Name we call on Thee into Thy abode of ecstasy and infinity

When the kundalini rises in a person, his radiance increases, his arc line increases, and his strength of aura increases. He does not start yelling and going berserk; that is not the effect of the kundalini rising. Yoga is a tool; it is an instrument of Infinity. It is a science through which a person works. It is just like electric current passing through a light bulb. It doesn’t matter if the bulb is seventy-five watts or three watts, the current will still make the light shine. It won’t burn any filament. It will give light to everybody. And one thing it gives to all, it does not allow a person to be depressed.

When the heart prays, God obeys. Prayer is one instrument in the head of man which can subject God and command Him to action. When the heart of one opens up for prayer, the heart of the Big One opens up to obey. Prayer is a key which opens the biggest lock of destiny. Prayer is said and prayer is heard. There is never a reaction, provided it is a prayer from the very heart of you.

The New Year draws near us, as the one before ends.
Outside a blizzard, inside with friends
Singing songs of the Guru in a candlelit hall,
Safe from the cold of the endless snow fall.
By a cedarwood fire, I write you a song.
In the ten years I’ve known you, I’ve taken too long
To tell you I love you. I want you to know.
Of the things deep inside that aren’t easy to show.
The day will come someday, we both will be dead,
But some will remember these things that we said.

This Poem was written by Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan and appears in the book, “The Game of Love”.
One day when you will become soft like wax,
Then my thread of life will pass through you,
And out of the accident of the warmth of my heart
One end will get lit,
And you will burn ― slowly melting in the heat of the flame.
And when you will reach the end,
You will find God waiting for you,
To embrace you into His Infinity.
